I was listening to 5s greatest hit last night. Epic. I had forgotten how cheesy they are. I tried to organise a disco last night. we put our head torches onto flash mode and bang some tunes out of the speakers. Leven did say we would need to stop the disco if we saw a ship. Strobe is a sign of distress. Imagine being a captain of a ship, seeing a boat in distress only to find some jokers rowing the Atlantic having a disco!
We now have less than 1000 statute miles left. Down to 3 figures!
I also have done the trade of the trip. I swapped a Double Decker chocolate for 40 satelitte mintues worth about £60. Result.
We also have put bets on the rugby. I have gone for an england win by 8 points. We are now betting choc bars as they are far more valuable than money.
Hi James
I bet you threw some awesome shapes out there!! It was a closer game of rugby than you antisipated. England the only team still on for a grand slam!
Just keep going, we’re all behind you at HM your goal is within reach!!
Best wishes

Mr. James Cowan – You are a member of a team of valiant young men, struggling heroically to break an incredible world record. Sadly, the latest communication to your legions of devoted followers reveals that you are more interested in ’5ive’ …and in organising an ‘onboard discotheque’.
Sir, I am no longer quite so sure of your credentials, or indeed, of requesting an autograph upon your safe return. According to my daughter (who knows about these things), Blue were much better than 5ive. I suggest that you stick to your rowing and leave the fun stuff to others.
Breaking News… The Pope and Hilary Clinton have resigned and up to 60% horse meat has been found in Tesco Everyday Value Beef Spaghetti Bolognese. I am not inferring any connection between these events.
We are all rooting for you, back here at the office and the kids are excited too. dont know how have kept up 2hrs on 2 hrs off for all this time. We are facebooking and tweeting and as your countdown has started we’ll try to engender more interest.
been out buying Double Deckers but cant find any buyers here!!!
regarding Geoff’s remark I have no idea who is better out of Blue and 5ive but I understand that tesco burgers are very low in Fat but very high in Shergar. boom boom!
