I have decided to raise money for a local and an international charity.
The Isabel Hospice
I chose the Isabel hospice as my local charity due to the help and support they have shown to a number of our families at Heath Mount (the school I work at). They provide free services to people with cancer and other life limiting illnesses. Clinical nurses provide specialist care throughout East Hertfordshire. I am humbled and amazed by the work they do and very grateful for the help they have given us.
The Dalit Charity
Is my international charity. As you know the Heath Mount has been working extremely hard to help develop the Xavier school in India. Our efforts have given “untouchables” the opportunity of an education and a chance for them to work their way out of poverty.
