Are you nearly there yet? (joke)
have you been to the toilet yet ?
how many turtles have you seen approximately?
hope the waves are not to big.
Millie & George
You’re probably really tired but you’re doing great. You’re missing a heap of snow! We hope you get back safely because the whole of Galahad miss you. Break the record Mr Cowan. You can do it!!
Hi JC
I hope you are coping ok with the gruelling schedule and managing to get enough sleep. It’s great to be able to follow your progress on the blog – really good luck to you and the rest of the crew.
I am sure you have heard about the weather here – freezing cold with 6 inches of snow (so at least there is something more pleasant for you than being here). Archie particularly frustrated by lack of rugby matches!
Archie and Laura had their exams and they seemed to go fine – waiting to hear now. Thanks so much for your help over the break – really nice of you to fit that in around the training.
Hi Mr Cowan,
I hope that you will break the record!!!
I had my exams on Saturday and they were good I think. Thank you for helping me with all the maths.
Keep rowing!
Laura

We will save you a snowball in the freezer for a Galahad snowball fight -dont tell cook!!!!
Keep rowing
love max and Toby
Following your journey Mr Cowan looks like you are doing great ! The snow has fallen heavy here last week and now lots of rain so hoping the storms are not affecting you today,

You will break the record I’m certain. Hope the weather is good for rowing and that you get enough sleep and energy for every shift !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi Mr C,
Having just killed some pigs I want to smoke some bacon but your boat is
blocking the smoker in the Botts barn – just wondering if i could chop it up and use it as firewood!
Hope all is going well, it’s one degree here in Walkern – hope it’s a little warmer.
I hope it’s all going well and you’re on course to break the record. I’m doing a bit of rowing at school but I bet it’s nothing compared to what your doing. Really good luck and i hope you haven’t got many blisters yet!
So impressed by the quality of your online social media content. Louis says that you make his new maths teacher at St Albans look so boring and old by comparison (also he gives you an automatic detention if you forget to bring your maths book to any of his lessons – so he definitely misses Heathmount’s maths department)! We are all enjoying the beard – very “down with the kids” look! Keep rowing…………
Thinking of you. I managed to post a message in the wrong place!! So just wanting you to know we are all rooting for you in the Hornor household, and take each day as it comes!
I hope you break the record, you CAN do it like you always told me!!
I’m sure you will be looking forward to a nice comfy bed and electricity when you get back!!
You’re wise and young, unlike an owl
Presently you are hearing the winds as they howl
Keep going strong, focus in your mind
The end is near, you’ll knock ‘em dead blind!
Morning Mr Cowan
Hows the sunburn! we have been looking at the website this morning to look at your progress..well over half way what an achievement…we all miss you at school..

Keep rowing good luck to all of the team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello bud, (JC),
I tried to message you last week but wasn’t sure if it came through? Anyhow, whether it did or it didn’t, Rachel, Oliver and I are sending you lots of love and support.
Well done so far, it has been amazing watching the progress of your beard……the rowing isn’t bad either! Bit of a side show really to see who has the best beard by the end. I’m sure you’ll be up there.
Well hope your bum and hands aren’t sore and I hope you have enjoyed a weeks Culcutta bragging rights. Lets hope you don’t have any Irish crew on board – tomorrows game is going to be tough!
Best of luck with the final push, we are rooting for you and the guys you are with and we wish them all the best to.
Look forward to hearing from you when you are back. Lots of love Tommy, Rachel & Oliver x x
